Endurance training create beasic for all training. Also in xc-sprint endurance is important part of performance, because at this moment the distance is quite long betweeb 1200 - 1500 meter. So in one competition the skiin distance is about 4 kilometers. My main aim in endurance is very high speed variation, main part of the training is with very low intensity, with this i can keep my speed level high. Its is allways compromise when endurance- and speed/strenght-training are mixed. So everybody have to think about your own talents and try to customise training for own purpose. My advise in endurance training is large variation of training speeds. Lot of training with very low intensity and long duaration. And when you go fast, make sure that you go fast with good technic.
